There is no magic to coming to see me for Psychotherapy!
Most of the people I treat are
quite successful in many areas of their lives.
People come to see me because they
have hit a bump in the road, have experienced a trauma or
are just feeling unhappy.
Coming to therapy does not mean you
are crazy or weak.

The first session is designed to get acquainted with you and find out your areas of concern about your life, find out what your goals are in coming to speak to me. My clients describe me upbeat, personable, straight forward, engaging, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I like to make sure you are comfortable in my office. With every client I see, I am always aware of how hard it is to discuss personal areas, objectives and goals of your life of your life with stranger. I treat everyone with dignity in a safe non-judgmental environment.
The theoretical framework I use is a combination of cognitive - behavioral, solution based and psychodynamic. Translated, that means that the areas we work on together will be taken care of or solved in way so that you should never need to return to therapy for them again. You will also master ways to deal with issues yourself so that you are able to master them if they pop up again later in life.
